Thanks to generous tax credits and rebates being offered by utilities, sales of heat pumps will likely increase exponentially in the coming years, so it’s important to understand the wide range of equipment that is currently available.

Jason LeRoy is the Director of Research and Development for the Residential HVAC & Supply business at Trane Technologies which covers the strategic brands of Trane, American Standard, Ameristar, RunTru, and OxBox. Mr. LeRoy’s organization is focused on the development of improved HVAC components, system technologies, and the evaluation and development of alternative, not-in-kind, technologies both inside and outside the enterprise at large. Prior to that, he led the development of Trane’s flagship product, Trane TruComfort Variable Speed, where he was responsible for all aspects of refrigeration design, control algorithm development, system reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and meeting cost and efficiency targets. He is the holder of seven U.S. patents and has served on numerous committees with external organizations including ASHRAE and AHRI and is currently on the Industrial Advisory Board at Purdue University. Mr. LeRoy was awarded Purdue University’s Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Award in 2014. Every year, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University recognizes alumni who have demonstrated excellence in industry, academia, governmental service, or other endeavors related to mechanical engineering. |

Joe Parsons brings an impressive four decades of HVAC experience, with a specialized focus on renewables and geothermal heat pumps. Joe joined the ClimateMaster team in 2018 as the Senior Product Manager where he played a pivotal role overseeing residential products and programs. By 2023, Joe further expanded his influence by transitioning to the Climate Control Group marketing team as the Senior Marketing Sustainability Manager, serving the ClimateMaster, ClimaCool, IEC, and ClimateCraft brands. He is passionate about building the sustainable growth of the geothermal heat pump industry through education and awareness programs. Joe actively contributes his expertise on topics such as the Inflation Reduction Act, decarbonization business case development, and collaboration with drilling industry professionals to promote adoption of geothermal solutions. |
Tim Wallace brings over 20 years of experience in general contracting and sales to his role as a Sales Representative at Arctic Heat Pumps. His interest in the company began while researching electric heating solutions for his own home. After experiencing the impressive sales and installation process firsthand, Tim was inspired to join Arctic Heat Pumps' sales team. Outside of work, Tim is passionate about golfing, woodworking, and maintaining an active lifestyle. He values continuous learning and is always eager to explore new topics and skills. |
