Travis Forrester, a seasoned security professional with a background in law enforcement, government and education, is the Director of Security, Safety, & Emergency Management for Greenville County Schools, the largest school district in the state of South Carolina and the 46th largest in the nation. Forrester is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and the James J Rowley Institute of the Secret Service. He also has certifications as an active shooter instructor from G.T.I. (Government Training Institute), CQB (Close Quarters Combat), and the ALICE Institute (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate).
