Training may qualify for related continuing education for recertification activity through NICET. Students may claim one (1) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point per hour of instruction towards their NICET recertification requirement for any sessions that expand their knowledge of the subject matter pertaining to the certifications they hold.
Participants completing this course may be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Education credit or CPEs toward ASIS re-certification.

Travis Forrester, a seasoned security professional with a background in law enforcement, government and education, is the Director of Security, Safety, & Emergency Management for Greenville County Schools, the largest school district in the state of South Carolina and the 46th largest in the nation. Forrester is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and the James J Rowley Institute of the Secret Service. He also has certifications as an active shooter instructor from G.T.I. (Government Training Institute), CQB (Close Quarters Combat), and the ALICE Institute (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate). |
