In this presentation we will explore the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors, decarbonization, integrated workplace management systems, and buildings. This interconnected relationship can have significant impacts on sustainability and overall organizational performance.

We will discuss the reasons why Integrated workplace Management Systems (IWMS) can be used to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of building operations. You will gain an understanding of ESG principals and the framework they provide for organizations to align their building and workplace management strategies, with decarbonization and social responsibility goals.

By the end of this presentation, participants will have an understanding of IWMS technology can play a significant role in our decarbonization journey, and how decarbonization strategies, software technologies, and policy frameworks, enabling organizations to contribute to a net-zero future.

Speaker

Christina Tomaselli started her career as a Real Estate Manager, with the Opus Group in 2010, one of the largest national real estate development and construction companies prior to the recession, where she worked with the Regional SVP to manage and sell a portfolio valued at over $200 million and wind down operations in the Pacific Northwest.

From there she pursued a BA in Sustainability from Arizona State University. She saw how quickly the landscape was changing within the industry and decided to focus on becoming a design and engineering resource for firms that wish to expose their design teams to the leading-edge technologies that are answering the global demand for more connected, automated, and energy efficient operations. Her experience at CBE| Heery and then DLR Group, where she provided education and support to Capital Facilities teams within the K-12 sector for forward-thinking, research-informed design principals.

In her current role, Christina is a Solution Architect, helping customers design intelligent integrated buildings using Schneider Electric’s latest iBMS platform, EcoStruxure.
