The threat environment in commercial real estate has changed dramatically over the past 10 years, including the real threat of pandemics, active shooters, explosive devices, extreme weather and natural disasters, among other significant threats to commercial facilities. Additionally, we have seen the dynamics of the office environment and building occupancy change equally as dramatically through social distancing protocols, work from home, and hybrid work schedules, which have become the norm. What are the essential components in securing commercial facilities while also preparing stakeholders by utilizing best practices to prepare, respond and recover to best safeguard their properties and building occupants?

In this webinar, Matt Smith, Vice President, Director of Security for JBG SMITH, a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate firm and developer, will discuss the various components of building a comprehensive security and preparedness program for commercial real estate managers and security professionals in these challenging times.
