This course is designed to educate architects about the fire-rated glazing solutions that are available for commercial construction in today’s market. Key elements required for fire safety will be reviewed. How these specialty glazing systems meet code requirements for life-safety in a building while supporting innovative building designs will also be explored. Designs that provider greater aesthetics and indoor comfort are available more than even before.
