Bill Hewa has been the Product Manager for Stone Mountain Technologies, Inc., since 2021. Before that, he spent eight years as a Product Manager for a global water heater manufacturer, during which time he launched two generations of electric heat pump water heaters and managed the residential product lines for key retail “big box” customers. In his prior career, he had roles in sales, marketing, product management, and regulation for worldwide telecom companies, including Sprint and Alcatel. Bill earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Tennessee and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.

Jason LeRoy is the Director of Research and Development for the Residential HVAC & Supply business at Trane Technologies which covers the strategic brands of Trane, American Standard, Ameristar, RunTru, and OxBox. Mr. LeRoy’s organization is focused on the development of improved HVAC components, system technologies, and the evaluation and development of alternative, not-in-kind, technologies both inside and outside the enterprise at large. Prior to that, he led the development of Trane’s flagship product, Trane TruComfort Variable Speed, where he was responsible for all aspects of refrigeration design, control algorithm development, system reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and meeting cost and efficiency targets. He is the holder of seven U.S. patents and has served on numerous committees with external organizations including ASHRAE and AHRI and is currently on the Industrial Advisory Board at Purdue University. Mr. LeRoy was awarded Purdue University’s Outstanding Mechanical Engineer Award in 2014. Every year, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University recognizes alumni who have demonstrated excellence in industry, academia, governmental service, or other endeavors related to mechanical engineering.

Joshua McAffry is the Technical Support Manager for Ecoer. He has been with Ecoer for two years and fell in love with HVAC at a young age and has been in the industry for twenty plus years.

TJ Wheeler is the Senior Director of Sales, Product Management and Marketing at Friedrich Air Conditioning. During his tenure at Friedrich he has led the product marketing groups towards several of the company’s most innovative milestones including the industry’s first WiFi connected room air conditioner and the launches of the all new VRP and Freshaire PTAC product lines.
