Increasing demand by businesses and organizations for cloud and managed services are generating newfound opportunities for installing security contractors to provide Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) solutions. These RMR-generating offerings shift access control management from on-premises systems to the cloud, allowing end users to scale and control access remotely. For end users, the benefits are plentiful, including minimal upfront costs, a monthly subscription fee, lower maintenance costs, and remote support and assistance. For dealers and integrators, ACaaS results in easier installations, more straightforward troubleshooting and faster response times. Plus, remote monitoring saves the time and money associated with a truck roll to an offsite location.
