Window Treatments may not be the first consideration of a renovation or new construction project. However, once the project is complete, they can be one of the most impactful elements for those who occupy the space.

In this course we will provide you with the tools to strike the right balance of lighting, privacy and functionality when designing a space.

By the end, you’ll have the necessary knowledge and skills to help with the treatment placement, selection and operation, as well as how to overcome any obstacles you may encounter.

Hinkle

For more than 13 years, Lauren has been working with interior designers, architects, owners, and facility managers to design and project manage window treatment solutions for a wide range of applications. Helping clients use window treatments to control light, provide comfort, and bring a high level of style, quality, and detail to interior environments is her passion. Lauren grew up in the world of window treatment manufacturing as her parents, John and Teresa Hinkel of Hinkel, Inc., owned and operated a very successful sewing operation just outside of Charlotte, NC. After graduating from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Lauren worked as an Interior Designer for a few years before becoming a project manager and sales representative for Hinkel, Inc. In 2015, Inpro Corporation acquired Hinkel, Inc. to expand their window treatment manufacturing expertise & capabilities. Today Lauren consults, plans, and guides window treatment projects throughout Inpro’s vast reach of clientele across the United States.
